Will’s Ninja Training

Brad’s Facebook post (April 24, 2018):   “So it’s almost 9pm, and Will is awake…2 1/2 hours past his bedtime. Tomorrow morning will be a beast. But he’s not wound up. Will is rather non-verbal, but you can tell he’s kind of buzzing, a little chipper, proud of himself. Gee I wonder why? Maybe because today was his best Ninja Training ever and he’s feeling excited. Yup, this is it. Thank you Damion! Thank you Kinetic Heights! #autism #autismawareness #autismawarenessmonth #autismspeaks #autismdad

The Power of Encouragement

We’d not seen a female participant get to the top of the 14 foot warped wall until Rachel came along last week on a field trip with her 8th grade class.  Rachel had done the 12 foot wall with ease but was a little bit intimidated by the 14 foot wall.  She literally said she couldn’t do it.  But some serious encouragement by her classmates gave her the courage to try it and pretty soon she was standing up on top, while her classmates roared.  Yes, this was truly a Magic Moment.
